Anastasia is a contemporary artist and painter currently living and working in Düsseldorf, Germany. With a background in design, her work spans various media and techniques, focusing primarily on painting and hand-built ceramics.

She began her artistic career with figurative, portrait-focused paintings, capturing the essence and presence of the human form. Over the past years, her practice has evolved towards a more abstract, introspective direction, exploring her inner world and using color, form, and texture to express complex emotions and states of being.

Her latest abstract series features large-scale canvases, defined by vibrant neon color accents and expressive, pastose brushstrokes. Through the careful layering of paint, she creates dense, textured surfaces that suggest depth and energy, inviting the viewer to sense the emotional atmosphere — or „aura“ — of the work, rather than a literal representation.

In parallel with her painting practice, Anastasia also creates hand-built ceramics, focusing on organic forms and tactile surfaces that reflect a spontaneous, intuitive dialogue with the material.
